| DUETS PARENT PROGRAM |
DUETS Parent Program links a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year band parent with a 1st year band parent at the start of the marching season. DUETS goal is to provide support, foster parent involvement, and create a mutually beneficial friendship for both the volunteer and new band parent. As a new member parent, you can expect your DUETS partner to contact you prior to band camp to assist with any questions that may not have been addressed during the band camp meeting. For the remainder of the marching season, your DUETS partner will be your go-to person as new questions arise, and they will! DUETS volunteers strive to make themselves available via phone and email to offer wisdom, information and support to the 1st year band family throughout the entire band season. If you have not already signed up for the DUETS Parent Program, please send an email to Duets@oviedoband.com. Be sure to include the following information: your name, phone number, email address, student name, grade in Fall 2011, marching instrument. |
